1) The best thing about my Dad is his selflessness...He is excitable and playful and beams with love when he is with his grandchildren. He will do anything for us...He is simply lovely.

2) His laughter... My Dad isn't big on words or I Love You's but I just know he loves me. He is one of the warmest people I know - it just bursts from within... Most of my friends are shocked that he's blind in one eye and partially blind in the other as it never stops him joining in... Dad brings out the fun in everyone... My Dad lives his life to the full. He's had his knocks in life but he just doesn't dwell on it or let it get him down. He breathes happiness into people and I'm very proud of who he is and hope that I have some of it installed in me.

3) His spontaneity and enthusiasm - not forgetting his fantastic cooking skills!
